CASTING NEWS, MARCH 2006

Tuesday, March 7  - An original New York play titled A Family's Play is in the works at The Diversity Players of Harlem.  The play, which is written and directed by Shawn Luckey, will be showing May 19-27.  Headshots and resumes are being accepted at this time either through both email and hard packages.  Roles being cast are mainly ethnic, although there are several supporting roles that do not require ethnic qualification.  The principle roles include a loving mother - 30 to 65 years old, 21 to 28 year old female with a strong physical and emotional capacity, a minister with a dark past - 25 to 35 years old, and a Latina nurse - 21 to 28 years old.  Auditions will be on March 12 from 1 to 7pm at a location yet to be determined.  Those who are interested in auditioning can call the main office at 212-591-1215 and send headshots to Diversity Players of Harlem, 244 Fifth Ave. #200, NYC 10001 and/or email copies to diversityplayersofharlem@yahoo.com
