FILM PRODUCTION NEWS APRIL, 2006

Wednesday, April 5 - Just a taste of the upcoming feature films shooting in New York City include a psychological drama, thriller and comedy that all need principle and background actors.  Price of a Dream is a drama that follows a young, beautiful Czechoslovokian dancer who is trying to pursue a dance career in New York.  The film is being directed by Katka Konecna during March and April.  Actors can mail headshots and resumes to Liz Haag, Appiafilm, 100 Williams St., Suite 2000, NYC 10038 or email electronic versions to liz@appiafilm.com. Another film, Slipknot, is a thriller based on computer hacking and espionage.  It is being directed by Scott Vincent, and will begin production in September.  There is no pay for this one - just a good credit.  All principle and background submissions (including children) can be mailed to MorningStar Films, PO Box 196, Rutherford, NJ 07070.  A third film, which is untitled, is also being done by Scott Vincent.  Again, there is no pay.  All headshot and resume's can be mailed to the previously mentioned address.
