FILM PRODUCTION NEWS APRIL, 2006

Wednesday, April 12 - The feature film MO, which is based on the true story about a young boy with physical challenges and his place in the world, is scheduled to start shooting in July, and is planned to wrap at the end of August.  All shooting will take place on the south shore of Long Island, NY.  The films producers are currently seeking several young actors (age 12 through 21) to play principle character, including Mo himself (Caucasian, pale, skinny, age 12-19), Brett - a brunette athlete age 15-19, Sean (age 15-19), Michelle (cute Caucasian, 15-19), Young Ben (black hair and blue eyes, age 12-14), Marro (athletic with black hair and blue eyes - age 15-19), and Little Mo (age 5-7) to name a few.  Adult roles include the lead, Pam - in her forties and Caucasian - Jim (mid forties, Caucasian and hefty), Dr. Arad (foreign accent, in his fifties), Dr. Leahman (in his fifties and very intelligent), and Mr. Dobbs, who is in his fifties and also hefty.  They are also seeking all actors who can pull off Long Island, NY accents.  Producers are asking for all interested actors to send emails with headshots and resumes by April 30 to live@mofilm.net. The piece is truly a heartwarming one (take a look at the website, www.mofilm.net), and will be under a SAG Modified Low-Budget Contract.  There will be professional pay.
