FILM PRODUCTION NEWS APRIL, 2006

Thursday, April 20 - A short film entitled Bottom Feeder will be shot in the Bronx, Long Island and Westchester the last two weeks of June.  Writer and casting director, Wayne Gurman, is seeking to cast several roles, most of which African Americans, Italians, Middle Easter and some Hispanics.  Not to be confused with the 2000 feature Bottom Feeders, this film will explore sensitive subjects such as interracial relationships and violence.  Production is not necessarily interested in actors with experience, but are rather seeking very raw and natural types. To see a breakdown of the characters, please visit waynegurman.com.  All those interested in auditioning should send headshots, resumes and reels to Wayne Gurman, 2858 Lasalle Ave., Bronx, NY 10461, and specify the role they are interested on the outside of the package.
